Juliana
Juliana is one of highly trained Hygienists and worked in Vernon B.C for 4 years before returning to Calgary. Being a Calgary girl she missed the sun and blue sky and came back home to Calgary. Obviously forgot about the freezing winters.Too much fresh fruit we think. This was great for us of course because she has been an amazing part of our team for the last 10 years.
Juliana is a graduate of the University of Alberta and trained in laser hygiene therapy. She will customize your hygiene therapy to your personal needs and help you obtain ideal oral health. Juliana is however of Ukrainian ancestry which means she could break into some kind of Polka dance at any moment if you have been flossing on a regular basis. She is very good but this can make your hygiene appointment a little dangerous. Perogies will however be given out at the end of the appointment!!
Peggy
Peggy is one of our hygienist and has been with us for over 8 years now. I am not allowed to tell you how long she has been a hygienist for fear of my life but let’s say she is very experienced. Peggy is a graduate of the University of Alberta (date withheld) and a Northern Alberta girl.
Peggy is a laser certified hygienist and will design your hygiene therapy to meet your individual needs to reach ideal oral health. Like Juliana Peggy is of Ukrainian descent so she may also break into a polka dance. However she will be giving out theses amazing roasted pecans that she makes if you have been flossing! Peggy does like parachuting, rafting and bungee jumping so she is a little crazy which means if you forget to floss you better have a really good excuse.
Jill
Jill is one of our wonderful treatment coordinators. She has been with Dr.Cload for over 6 years now. Seems like 40!!! If you hear loud raucous laughter there is a good chance it is Jill. Besides being a great assistant and Dr.Cload’s `right hand` she is very knowledgeable about neuromuscular dentistry and cosmetic dentistry.
Jill will be with you during most of your visit explaining treatment and most importantly making your visit enjoyable. We must mention though that she is a Riders fan (I know what you are thinking unless of course you love Rider green) so do not mention your allegiances to other teams unless you are a pirate (don`t ask). If you mention your support of another team your visit might not be so much fun as everyone else’s. Go Riders Go!!
Charissa
Charissa is also one of our hygienist's. Like our other hygienists Juliana and Peggy, Charissa is also an Alberta girl. I know that sounds like favouritism but hey Alberta girls make the best hygienist. She also graduated at the University of Alberta. This is getting spooky.
Charissa is highly trained in Neuromuscular Dentistry and is qualified to provide Laser therapy. She will design your hygiene visits to best meet your oral health needs and those of your total health. Now unlike Peggy and Juliana she is not Ukrainian but is also a great cook, fantastic soups! There is also a chance you will hear her wonderful laugh from the waiting room. She is forever laughing. Remember though, she is a hygienist so if you are not flossing it may turn into an evil laugh.
Andrea
Andrea is our Hygiene Coordinator. She will likely be the first team member you meet when you walk through our front door. Andrea will assist you with any financial arrangements and help arrange all your hygiene appointments such that they are convenient for you and are optimized for your oral help. She will be the lovely voice that reminds you when your appointment is due. She does not normally employ strong-arm tactics to ensure your timely return, but will if needed! She used to be a competitive runner so there is no way you can hide.☺In all honesty she is great and will put you at ease as soon as you walk through the door with a smile and the offer of a tea or coffee.
Valerie
Valerie is one of our great treatment coordinators. Valerie is the newest member of our team and is wonderful. She has over 12 years experience as treatment coordinator. She has been trained in neuromuscular dentistry, implants and cosmetics. She will make your visit a lot of fun and be with you during most of your visit. Now if you are slightly crazy and love cold outside sports like Valerie where you snow shoe in the middle of nowhere or just ski really fast down very steep mountains, then she is the treatment coordinator for you.☺
