Neuromuscular dentistry is the study and application of the principles that cause jaw movement. Dr. Steven Cload and his Calgary cosmetic dentistry team believe that in order to create the most healthy smile, the neuromuscular aspects must be healthy, too. What that means for our patients is that we will ensure a balanced bite is maintained or created during the smile design process. How long will it take to get a new smile?
Since every smile makeover is unique, we cannot guarantee a treatment timeframe without a thorough dental evaluation first. For some cosmetic dentistry patients, one or two visits may be all that is needed to get a great smile. For others who require more extensive treatments, a few weeks to a few months may be needed.
